24 Series Finale

Finally after 8 controversial seasons, 24 closes its eight and final day on a mild emotional note.

After watching it today I believe its ending captivated viewers towards series veterans Jack Bauer & Chloe O'Brian. Possibly the most loyal friendship on television, through thick & thin, it seemed this duo can overcome just about any terrorist threat from where they met in CTU Los Angeles to its finale in CTU New York. Its last 10 minutes did not end highly, but just enough to appreciate each veteran character retrospectively...even President Logan(that slimy bastard). But after watching season eight it was clear 24 was running out of ideas, methods and its storyline was becoming predictable.

Seeing the iconic 24 time counter reaching 00:00:00 I was sad to see such a remarkable hero like Jack, to be again on the run from governments wanting him captured (when is this dude gunna find some peace!!). Also glad that President Taylor did the right thing in the end (2nd best President after Palmer) because of her fetish for justice got the best of her.

Overall, watching the series as a whole, I would say it was one hell of a ride. It's themes of trust, betrayal, terrorism, government & corporate corruption, assassination attempts, graphic interrogations and its twist kept me wanting to watch episode after episode for what happens next. It's Producers and Kiefer Sutherland created an epic story (Awesome job guys) told throughout 24 hours in one day.

To Conclude, I Give the 24 series 7/8 BITS

Can't wait til the 24 Movie! I already miss Jack ='\
